Throwback to when we brought Star Wars to reality

Throwback to when we brought Star Wars to reality at Indooroopilly Shopping Centre. We created a custom Augmented Reality application deployed on a portrait kiosk. Using a Microsoft Kinect motion sensor, users navigated the experience with hand motions and gestures. Resulting in photos with their favourite Star Wars characters and many smiles!

We had a lot of fun creating this lush floor projection with our friends at @xzibitptyltd for Karawatha Forest Discovery Centre. Taking place in a small section of a peacefully flowing creek, the sequence depicts the lifecycle of a group of frogs as they hatch and grow from tadpoles into mature frogs.

Karawatha Forest Park is an important refuge for over 200 species of wildlife, and has the highest diversity of frog species in Brisbane. The forest is approximately 900 hectares and is one of the largest areas of remnant bushland within the city.

We were so happy to help this amazing sanctuary provide an unforgettable experience for it’s visitors, in partnership with Xzibit!

We were so thrilled to be called upon by Div Comm in 2021, for the fourth year in a row to create this new branding and promo video.

As AV installation specialists, especially in the realm of projections and digital signage, Integrate is an event that is close to our hearts. With the world truly transformed and more connected through AV media than ever, we wanted to capture the sense of innovation and evolution propelled by the COVID-19 pandemic.

We love the complex and imposing structures created for the documentary film ‘Machine’. Never Sit Still & Luxx in collaboration with FINCH created these 3D visualisations using Cinema 4D, X-Particles, Ubertracer2 and Redshift. The networks of nodes rendered so beautifully provide a stunning but clear impression of machine-learning. Now we’re waiting for any excuse to use Ubertracer2!

We love this video for Microsoft HoloLens by BUCK

We love this video for Microsoft HoloLens by BUCK @buck_design); a great example of motion graphics that are gorgeous to look at but don’t stray too much from the function of supporting the message.

The goal of this video is to demonstrate that the product can massively improve timelines in an industry with no room for error. The script speaks for itself, so the graphics simply need to serve the script.

With bold neon visuals that use both literal and abstract imagery to convey specific concepts, and text animations that are cinematic but simple and perfectly timed, this video aptly makes use of a black space-like background which allows you to focus on every word.

The result is a video that is totally engrossing, impressive to look at but ultimately leaves you with a rock-solid understanding of the case study. Sometimes you want your graphics to be the star of the show, but at other times they need to play a supporting role.

Prendi x @xzibitptyltd - Norden Bombsight Touchscreen Experience - WWII Secret Base, Charleville

We teamed up with Xzibit to create this exciting and historically accurate interactive experience.
With our team handling the animation, it was an enticing challenge to create a series of animations that loop and transition seamlessly to play out alternate pathways through a bombing mission, featuring a detailed and accurate ocean built inside of After Effects integrated with a photorealistic rendering of the Norden bombsight.

With Xzibit expertly writing and programming the experience as well as building the enclosure and adding an awesome audio track, this collaboration was a joy to work on with a great outcome, giving visitors of WWII Secret Base a chance to experience a piece of history.
