James Ingram

Role:
Managing Director/Owner
Professional Bio:
James Ingram is the founder of Prendi Pty Ltd and brings a diverse background in business, accountancy, audit and corporate finance. James has long held a passion for digital media, photography and technology; along with a great eye for design and detail.
In late 2011, James saw an opportunity to combine his experience and passion, quit his job in a top tier accounting firm and Prendi Pty Ltd was born. He is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor Business and a Bachelor of Law.
What I do for fun:
Martial arts, photography, finding and using assorted tech, watching movies and hanging out with his beautiful wifey.
His mantra:
“Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.”
nat

Nat Russell

Role:
Creative Director
Professional Bio:
Nat has eight years of experience as a motion designer in a range of studios. He brings his sense of design to all his work and helps maintain Prendi’s high quality output. He’s worked on anything from TV ads to feature films and loves new challenges. Nat has worked in every capacity when it comes to 2D or 3D animation and film production. Nat loves pushing himself creatively and talking about himself in the third person.
What I do for fun:
Creating animations, watching movies and plotting world domination.
His mantra:
“It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.”

Emily Ingram

Role:
Marketing / Finance Manager
Professional Bio:
Emily heads up the Marketing department to increase the recognition Prendi has both locally and internationally. Her background in Marketing with a national retailer provided her with the skills to kickstart numerous initiatives at Prendi. She has also grown into the role of Finance Manager, continually expanding her nerdy accounting skills.
What I do for fun:
Originally from Melbourne she enjoys the Queensland sun, learning new things, fitness, being a grandma, and hanging out with her beautiful husby.
Her mantra:
“Everything is awesome.”

Jason Thomas

Role:
Digital Integration Manager
Professional Bio:
Jason Thomas has been involved with Prendi Pty Ltd since its earliest days, with many years of experience configuring, installing, supporting and building both hardware and software solutions. He has 20 odd years of supporting, maintaining and using technology, the internet, business networks, hardware and software, writing programs and pulling things apart and putting them back together. Jason has a Bachelor degree in Information Technology (Software development and Data communications) and a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration.
What I do for fun:
Spend way too many hours researching products and technology looking for ways to use technology to solve problems that it was never intended to in the first place, to relax I may roll the odd WoW toon.
His mantra:
“I don’t see why that wouldn’t be possible.”

Will Murtagh

Role:
Motion Designer
Professional Bio:
Will is a fresh face in the world of motion graphics having just received his Bachelor of animation from Griffith University. With majors in 2D, 3D, Character Animation and Animation Scriptwriting, digital media is not just a job for Will, it’s his passion.In the past, Will has had the pleasure of working with Australian and International clients as a freelance Animator for his own company ‘Willimation’. With clients ranging from big companies to small one off job’s, Will gained a wealth of knowledge from his time freelancing and looks back on this time fondly.With an ever growing love for film and technology, Will is always eager to catch up on the latest industry advancements.
What I do for fun:
Lazing around the house with his wife, camping and catching up with mates. I was also the longest running hand model for the Chiko Roll.
His mantra:
“If I have seen further than others it is by standing on the shoulders of giant snails.”

Joan Mok

Role:
Motion Designer
Professional Bio:
Joan graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor in Animation and an enthusiasm for creating and consuming art, design and motionography in animation, film, tv and games. Joan has experience in 2D and 3D animation, having majored in both, and is always ready to learn new techniques to make her work better. She’s worked on a short film (Izar) that was selected to be screened in Griffith’s Cannes Festival segment, and participates in community animation challenges from time to time.
What I do for fun:
Sleeping in mossy logs, hiding in long grass and listening to inappropriate hip-hop at an unreasonable volume.
Her mantra:
“But how, insect?”

Joel Olsson

Role:
Lead Interactive Applications Developer
Professional Bio:
Joel studied Visual and Interactive Design at QUT before moving into self-taught programming. Joel has professional experience in full stack development, developer operations, mobile app development and enjoys functional programming. Some of Joel’s favourite personal projects include champion.gg, prattle.global and 2ez.gg.
What I do for fun:
Joel likes playing games, watching movies, going to the beach, playing around with new tech and learning new things.
His mantra:
“Never forget your mantra.”

Ben Cream

Role:
Interactive Applications Developer
Professional Bio:
Ben begun his programming journey in the world of the web, and is a valuable addition to the coding ranks of Prendi. An enthusiast of all things digital and logical, he is passionate about expanding his programming repertoire and writing personal bios.
What I do for fun:
Always up for a challenge, he is happiest when developing new skills, and battles a constant desire to learn and improve his abilities and his Pokemon.
His mantra:
“Gotta catch ’em all.”

Jacob Flynn

Role:
Interactive Applications Developer
Professional Bio:
Coming from a background in Game Development, Jacob came to Prendi with a desire to learn, create and further his development in all things programming. He’s making big strides in developing interactive applications that would blow your mind.
What I do for fun:
Jacob likes to prototype lots of different game ideas in his spare time, but if you can’t find him at his computer then he’s likely in his 4×4 or pumping iron.
His mantra:
“No Pain, No Gain.”
